Hi! My name is Natalie Metzger and I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. I am currently a senior at the University of Kentucky and my typical everyday studies center around everyones favorite topic- food (dietetics). I am a hard working student who hopes to attend occupational therapy school soon after graduating in spring 2020. Although I am currently in the process of applying to occupational therapy school, I also have experience in the dietetics field ranging from working as an intern for the University of Louisville football team and also as an intern at the Markey Cancer Center in Lexington, Kentucky. I hope I will either end up at a occupational therapy graduate program in Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, or Ohio. I have experience working with various population groups including adults and pediatrics. My hope is to work with patients recovering from neurological disorders. I have always been interested in all things food from a young age and have high hopes for the future that I will be able to integrate my dietetics degree with my occupational therapy degree. I am a driven individual that has taken on various leadership roles since my time at the University of Kentucky to better prepare myself for a hopeful future. I hope you enjoy my blog and can put these recipes to use over the holiday season!
